*** Aarhus Symposium ***

Aarhus Symposium is an all-day event with the purpose of connecting ambitious students and the corporate world by facilitating a debate on global challenges. Every year, the first Friday in November, a strong line-up of key decision-makers and leaders of today are invited to share their experiences and engage in discussions with ambitious students. In that way, Aarhus Symposium constitutes a visionary learning space in which leaders of today and leaders of tomorrow can learn and challenge each other on pressing subjects of today.

Aarhus Symposium is a non-profit organisation founded in 2011 by students at Aarhus University. This year, a group of more than 30 dedicated volunteer students have devoted a year of hard work in order for you to enjoy a unique and unforgettable experience at Aarhus Symposium.

On November 2, 2018, the eighth annual Aarhus Symposium is held.

*** Aarhus Symposium Focus ***

Aarhus Symposium Focus zooms in on a national scope and engages leaders of today with leaders of tomorrow in a discussion on one of Denmark's most important challenges.

In 2016, Battle of the Economists was renamed "Aarhus Symposium Focus". Just like Battle of the Economists, Aarhus Symposium Focus is an inspiring event that takes place on Monday in the week of Aarhus Symposium.

Aarhus Symposium Focus 2018 takes place on October 29.

*** Aarhus Symposium Challenge ***

Aarhus Symposium Challenge offers the most ambitious and engaged students the opportunity to challenge leaders of today through an essay competition. Our Knowledge Board will pick the best solutions and the authors are invited to participate in Leaders’ Forum. Leaders’ Forum is a session where the authors of the best essays get the opportunity to engage in an informal discussion with the speaker who posed the given essay topic. This ensures an even closer interaction between the speakers and the students.
